Fayence is the largest of one of five medieval towns. All the villages are extremely attractive with their own squares, restaurants and bars.
It is situated 15 kilometres from junction 39 of the motorway and therefore it is within easy access of the attractions of the Cote d'Azur and Provence.
The location offers a unique diversity of the beaches and nightlife on the coast together with the superb attractions of Provence inland including the Gorges Du Verdon which is approximately 45 minutes away.
The town of Grasse famous for its perfume industry is 20 mins from the villa.
Fayence which is within walking distance has all the shops required for day to day living. Along the valley there is an extensive range of shops and services together with large supermarkets.
The market is on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays in Fayence. The South of France offers several much larger markets at Antibes on Saturdays and Le Muy on Sundays. There are also very large markets in Italy and Ventigmiglia on Fridays and Saturdays.
There are an enormous number of restaurants in the area ranging from simple cafes through to Michelin star restaurants. There are several very good restaurants in Fayence within walking distance and others within a short drive.
Over the summer there are extensive festivals and concerts in both Fayence, Tourette and beyond.
